The London Tap Jam is back

It’s been 21 months since the last London Tap Jam at Gigi’s Bar in Hoxton Square, London. Since everything shut down in March 2020, the jams were held online, via Instagram Live. But it’s not the same… A jam is about artists performing on stage together, improvising and creating unique performances in the moment with other dancers and musicians. It’s good to have this back.

On Sunday, October 31st, the Jam finally came back on stage – not just celebrating its return but also commemorating its 15th anniversary.

As usual, Lee Payne was the host and together with the Michele Drees Trio, he provided a welcoming space for tap dancers and singers of all stages.
