How to Get Better Client Testimonials (Without Telling People What to Say)
Reading time: 11 minutes
Documentary photography for businesses, organisations and events.

You’ve put time, care, and intention into your event — you deserve photography that reflects all of it.
I document meetings, presentations, and professional events with a calm, unobtrusive approach, capturing the atmosphere in the room, the people involved, and the moments that matter alongside the key formalities.
The result is a set of natural, storytelling images you can use for communications, reporting, and future promotion.
Based in Worthing, I photograph corporate and institutional events across Sussex and London.

Corporate Headshots
Whether you need fresh headshots for your leadership team or portraits of every member of staff, my approach is always about creating photographs that feel natural and approachable.
Rather than setting up a mobile studio and photographing hundreds of people in quick succession, I work with the available light in your workplace, taking the time to put each person at ease. I usually photograph near large windows or in carefully chosen locations around your office, creating headshots that feel authentic and in keeping with your brand.
If you’d like a wider selection of images for each person, we can use different locations and backgrounds around your workspace while keeping the overall look cohesive. Every session is tailored to your company’s style, the time available and how you’ll use the images.

Your Workplace
Great workplace photography shows far more than an office – it gives people a sense of who you are, how you work and what it’s like to be part of your organisation.
I document the everyday moments that bring your business to life: teams collaborating, workshops, meetings, conversations, problem-solving and the details that make your workplace unique. The result is a library of authentic imagery that can be used across your website, recruitment campaigns, annual reports, brochures, pitch decks, presentations and internal communications.
These photographs can be created during a normal working day, at a workshop, during training sessions or team away days, and can be as observational or lightly directed as needed.

Corporate Event Photography
Many corporate and institutional events follow a similar structure, often within a tight timeframe. I’m used to working within these constraints and adapting quickly as things unfold.
Coverage typically includes:
Roundtable discussions and meetings, photographed discreetly without disruption
Presentations, talks, and speakers in context
Certificate presentations, awards, or formal moments
Group photographs of participants and organisers
Individual portraits or headshots when time and setting allow
Candid moments and interactions that show engagement and connection
My approach is flexible and responsive – I’ll prioritise the key moments while staying aware of the flow of the event, the people involved, and the environment we’re working in.
How I work on the day
Professional events often involve tight schedules, multiple stakeholders, and moments that need to be captured without disruption. My role is to fit seamlessly into that environment.
I work calmly and discreetly, observing how the event unfolds and responding to what’s happening rather than directing it unnecessarily. I’m mindful of formal settings, sensitive conversations, and the need for professionalism at all times.
When group photos, portraits, or key moments are required, I’ll step in efficiently and with minimal fuss, keeping things moving and respecting everyone’s time.
My aim is to make the photography feel easy – so you can focus on hosting your event, knowing the important moments are being documented thoughtfully and reliably.

Why documentary photography works for businesses
Your business already has a story.
The conversations, collaboration, concentration, problem-solving, and everyday moments happening in your workplace are what make your organisation different. Rather than staging those moments, I document them as they happen, creating photographs that feel genuine because they are.
The result is imagery your audience trusts – whether it’s on your website, in an annual report, a recruitment campaign or a pitch deck.

Photo delivery
Within approximately two weeks, you’ll receive an email confirming your images are ready in a private online gallery. All files are provided in high-resolution and web-friendly formats, ready for download, reporting, or internal and external communications.
If you require a faster turnaround, please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly
I work with organisations across the UK, photographing conferences, workplaces, leadership teams and the people behind businesses.
My event work is rooted in the same values as my family and personal branding photography: real connection, genuine moments, and images that feel honest and alive.
I work in a calm, observant way, which allows me to document events naturally while remaining mindful of formal environments and professional expectations.
Previous work include an all-day conference in Birmingham, a two-day dance festival in Scotland, panel discussions, stakeholder and investor meetings, sports events, exhibition launches, and community and corporate events.
