While these two lovebirds are getting married in China right now I thought it’s time to show Chris and Vicki’s engagement photos I took in Newcastle a month ago.
Vicki and I work together, only I’m based in our head office in Brighton while Vicki is stationed in Newcastle where her fiancé lives. I only met Vicki a few months ago but I’m lucky to call her a close friend of mine by now. When she told me that she needed some last minute engagement photos for her wedding in China in May and mentioned she would like me to take them I was flattered and just couldn’t say no. So on a friday afternoon I drove all the way from Brighton to Newcastle – which luckily only took me 9.5hours (who thought going up north via car on a friday afternoon, passing London, would be a good idea?!). Vicki and Chris definitely made the trip worthwhile though. Besides being unbelievably cute and fun in front of my lens they were also fantastic Newcastle tour guides and great hosts. And even though I’m not excatly a dog person I even fall in love with their dog Cookie.
