In June I got to go home to Germany to photograph the wedding of Maren and Christian. The two of them wanted something very different for their portraits and found a cow barn not far from their home. The owner luckily was happy to have us there and the shed made a very interesting and unique wedding portrait backdrop. I love when couples add something very personal to their portrait session. We also drove to the Burg Ranis, a very old beautiful castle, and enjoyed it’s rustic old charm.
The actual wedding later was held at a small town church. It was very sweet and personal with Marens and Christians friends contributing to the ceremony. And even though weather was supposed to not be on our side the rain stayed away most of the time and let everybody enjoy the day to the max.
Even though I’m happy to photograph weddings in Germany and even all over Europe, I’m now mostly working in the south of England as Brighton Portrait and Wedding Photographer. So if you’re looking for a photographer in Brighton or anywhere in England – to document your wedding or even just book a family portrait session – please get in touch.
